The words vox vocis are two forms of the Latin word meaning "voice, word, (med.) power, right, authority." They are also the pen name of the writer Jasmine Vitarelli on Hubpages.

Jasmine doesn't wear glasses, but spends numerous hours reading both offline and online so that's how she got the nickname "Square Eyes" - the avatar she's using online describes her well - she's happy when she reads or writes!

Jasmine's writing covers different topics, but her interest is mostly with languages, teaching, translations, cultures, health, and lately, search engine optimization.

When I first started writing on HP, I wanted to write about teaching, learning (especially foreign languages) and hobbies such as paper quilling, decoupage or acryl painting.

I got quite distracted, though, when I found out about SEO, keyword research and all things related to this important tool for successful article writing on the Web.

So, I wrote about different topics - Google AdSense, Google Analytics, SEO, Chinese Calendar - New Year, Celtic culture - leprechauns, credit cards, lemon law, quotes articles, parenting, etc.

Traffic is the key to success. Even if you used low paying keywords, but you have tons of traffic - you'll be able to earn ad income. Well, you won't be another online millionaire, but you'll earn your pocket money. I do.

In the future, I'll write about what I initially wanted on HP. Hope my readers will find my future work useful!

Because I want to add as much articles as possible to my online article writing portfolio, I joined a Writers' Challenge started by CrystalNici from Infobarrel. The idea was to write 500 article no matter where your online article writing home(s) is (are). The challenge started at the end of January this year (2012) and it ends next year at the same time. It's never late to join in :)

At this point, I've got 42 articles written as part of this challenge: on Seekyt, Hubpages and SeekSuccess.
